Jason Lanning is a
junior who is double majoring in pre-medicine and history. He is the son of Jeff and Mary Lanning of
Mitchell, SD.
The activities that Jason is involved in include cross country,
track, choir, Biology Club, Sigma Zeta, and current Student Association
Senate President. He is also the
student representative on the Assessment and Campus Security and Safety
committees. Among the college honors Jason has
received includes being on the Dean’s List. Jason was the freshman class president
and last year’s Student Association Senate Vice-President. He also received his Eagle Scout award
while still in high school. Jason
plans to graduate from medical school and work in emergency medicine. He also plans to go to Africa
at some point in his life and work with the Doctors Without Borders, World
Health Organization, or some similar association.

Heather Bohlander is a
junior from Cavour, South Dakota. She is working towards a major in
Elementary Education. She is actively
participating in Student Senate as the Vice President, Choir, a small
singing group, Biology Club, Dakota Wesleyan University Future
Teacher’s Organization (DWUFTO), and the R.E.D.I. program where she
enjoys working with first graders.
Heather has been given the Hughes Endowed Music Scholarship, the
Academic Scholarship, and has been on the Dean’s List.

Erin Haber, Sioux Falls, is a
senior Spanish and Elementary Education major. She is also heavily
involved in campus organizations as treasurer of Student Senate, treasurer
of Student Ministries Council, and a member of Dakota Wesleyan's Future
Teachers Organization. Erin
has excelled academically receiving a Randall Scholarship, being on the
Dean's list six of six possible semesters, and enrolling in the University
Scholars Program. Erin is a member
of Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Gamma Mu, and is currently enrolled in the R.E.D.I.
program. Active in the area community, Erin is an English-to-Spanish
document translator for the Plankinton
School District.
Erin studied in Puebla,
Mexico in
May 2006 in order to complete her Individualized Spanish major. She
has also served as the translator for Dakota Wesleyan's Mission Team in Tambo de Mora, Peru.

 Kyle Schoenfish is a sophomore from Scotland, South Dakota. He is pursuing a degree in Accounting
with a minor in Political Science.
Kyle was named to the Deans list both semesters his freshman
year. Kyle is a member of the DWU
Cross Country and Track and Field team.
He is currently serving as the Student Senate Secretary.
